menthol crystals

Is it safe to use menthol crystals for steam inhalation whilst pregnant? Probably a stupid question but wanted to check and can't find anything on the net.

my gp told me to steam with olbus oil so I guess thats the same thing.

I used olbas oil and menthol crystals when pregnant although not at the same time.

(nearest I ever got to drugs)
