Bf for a few weeks but not colustrum as wouldnt latch, did get mastitus which was awful and then stopped. Very odd.

EvesMama · 27/03/2006 15:57

they're really painful, well right breast more so.
much more than time of month(dont really get that)..bit like(but worse) than when first had dd.
my lump is on inside of right breast at bottom and strange red mole appeared v.close to it..although doc says its blood blister??
she aslo told me that she has a lump similar to mine and her husband(another doc i assume??), told her not to worry about it?! so she hasnt been to check it out?!

jellyjelly · 27/03/2006 18:18

I put my leg out of my car on boxing day and theway i out my leg down it shattered my lower leg and broke it in so many places i had to have it pinned from my knee but i also havent been able to walk. Real freak accident and will be careful next time.

ggglimp · 27/03/2006 18:21

Holy cow, jellyjelly. Was the car moving? Shock

Holding and crossing everything for all of you.

jellyjelly · 27/03/2006 19:34

Luckily no it wasnt, i still ended up by the wheels but got up before the paramedics turned up, then nearly died after being given morphine, so very lucky to be here which is why i can handle this.

brimfull · 27/03/2006 20:30

god that sounds awful jellyjelly. Can see what you mean about being able to handle this now!

EvesMama · 27/03/2006 20:45

EvesMama · 28/03/2006 12:59

is yours very uncomfortable too?
mine is so tender and sore cant bear dd to lean on me or anything?Sad

OP posts:
jellyjelly · 28/03/2006 14:44

MINE isnt painful at all other than when i have checked to see if it was still there but if i am pressing hard to feel it then it will. Dont know what i am having yet guess i will find out when i get there. It isnt long to wait, i just hope that the consultant gives me the result or as much as they can then and there. Found out my mum had a cyst a couple of years back which was fine.

EvesMama · 30/03/2006 08:38

mines been really sore past couple of days, right breast fels quite hard/firm (as opposed to soft and saggy like other oneSmile)
and very sore to touchSad

Have you taken para? does ti amke ti any better?

louise35 · 30/03/2006 23:06

I had a similar sort of thing a couple of years ago. I had a sort of rash on my left breast ( looked like broken blood vessels) with a definate ridgy feeling under the skin with a lump aswell. It was sore which they say is a good sign. I was sent to a breast clinic where they were going to do a mammogram but as I was under 35 they decided to do ultrasound instead as apparently if you are under 35, cancerous tissue does not always show up on a mammogram, hence the ultrasound. Nothing sinister was found on mine and it turned out that I had mastitis which was surprising as I always associated it with women who have recently had babies. My daughter was 9 when mastitis was diagnosed! Anyway good luck to all who are waiting for tests, I can remember how it felt to wait and its bloody awful when you dont know whats going on. Take care, Louise.

brimfull · 30/03/2006 23:11

thanks for that reassuring post louiseSmile.Ds is 3.5 so it may be mastitis too.

lalaa · 31/03/2006 14:14

hi everyone
just to say to those of you that may not know that i have breast cancer. there are a few of us on here who have had or have it right now. am hoping that you all get the right results, but if you don't, there's support here for you. the waiting is the worst - v scary and upsetting. i had a big wait for my appointment at the hospital (14 weeks in all) and i had to just put it out of my mind during that time, which i did very successfully! I've done surgery and chemo and am in the middle of radiotherapy right now.

The diagnosis and the treatment completely turned my world upside down but it is do-able. And I see the world in a completely different way now - much more appreciative of everything.

Am thinking of you all.

jellyjelly · 31/03/2006 16:25

Thankyou lalaa, getting worried now as my lump doesnt hurt.

brimfull · 01/04/2006 00:18

thank you lalaa, hope your treatment is going well.I think it's the thought of life changing that is so scary.

Do you mean you had to wait 14 weeks from gp referral to mammogram? I really hope I don't have to wait that long.

lalaa · 03/04/2006 16:53

yes - I waited that long for my referral from GP to hospital - with all the necessary tests done on the same day. At the time I was very reassured by my GP - very unlikely to be cancer in someone of my age, etc, etc, etc and I was able to just put it to one side. Knowing what I do now, I wouldn't do that again. But I'm not dwelling on it - onwards and upwards - I'm reserving my energy for concentrating on keeping well and fighting.

jellyjelly · 07/04/2006 16:43

Hi everyone, just got back from the hospital, had the biopsy which will be back in 2 weeks. Still nervous. how are you all?

lalaa · 20/04/2006 16:43

hey jellyjelly
just wanted to say hope the news is good tomorrow. let us know!

jellyjelly · 20/04/2006 18:59

i DIDNT even relise that it was 2 weeks ago, i got my date through for the scan which is in about 2 weeks again.

How are things with you?
