teething - advice please?

My ds2 of 10 months seems to be teething - all the usual symtoms of red hot cheeks irritability, refusing feeds BUT he is also very lethargic and I dont remember this with ds1 so was wondering if I am missing something. I can make him laugh if I try hard enough which made me think it couldn't be too serious. Any ideas please?

My ds has been a nightmare since his molar teeth started coming through. Poor devil is obviously in a bit of pain - but is determined that we will go through it with him!

I dont think that you should worry too much. I am sure that this will pass once the teeth have broken through. My ds has bad days (especially if he has had a wakeful night) then for a couple of days he is fine. There are times when he looks very agitated and wants to be left alon and then he is fine the next day. Just go with it and do all you can to ease the pain for him (I use teeting gel and teeting granuals and then when it is bad nurofen - cant spell that!!!)
