Another chicken pox question....

(Sorry, I've searched the archives but it's like a needle in a haystack!)

How soon do the spots get blisters? DD2 has all the signs of cp (incluind having been in contact with someone with it 10 days ago) but it's been 24 hours since she came out in red pimples which started on her chest and back and spread to her neck, face and hands,there's no blisters. Could it still be cp?

Yes. The blisters take a few days to appear.

thanks! I thought we'd escaped, I assumed the blisters magically appeared within hours!
