Ds not eating

Ds has just got over a cold, but he is still hardley eating a thing unless it is sweet stuff.

Whatever meal I give him he has about 2 mouthfuls and then stops.

Any tips to get his appetite back.

You can use otravine nasal drops in the over two. He probably wont eat anything because he cant tast it, unless it is highly flavoured. Nasal drops 10 mins befor food and it should help. Additionally limit his intake of dairy as this can increase mucous production. Minadex do a 'build up' vitamin tonic for children which is fab..

Just so odd seeing him off his food as he's a bit of a pig normally

Nutty, my 3 year old had a tummy bug (just mild diarrhoea) a couple of weeks ago and it took a week of being better before the appetite thing kicked back in again and he started eating to make up for the weeks when he hadn't.
