Mirena and breast tenderness

Hi - my first posting so please be tolerant if I do the wrong thing! Grin I am 41 years old with one son, aged 10.
I have had my mirena coil for about 2.5 years and love it because my periods have now stopped altogether, but... I sometimes get tender breasts and this time they are really bad. Apart from the discomfort I can't help worrying that I might be pregnant (which would be bad news). Anyone else have the same? The coil is definitely still in place.

I have had one for nearly 2 years and my nipples have recently been feeling sore (i've also being feeling tired, irritable etc). After reading the mirena coil thread I went to the doctors and he told me that none of it could be none of it was linked

Thanks for response chjilly. I have read lots on MN about people suffering side effects from the Marena and wondered if I was the only one with tender breasts! :)
