Do I want to see an Osteopath, a Chiropractor or a Physiotherapist?

Hi,

Have an old back injury, muscular I think, to the right of the bottom of my spine.

It has flared up since I have been running more recently.

Which practitioner would you advise I see for treatment?

TIA

Hi, I have a Mctimony chiropractor that I see (did I spell that right?), I would see her first then a Physio. I had a wrist problem recently, I saw the physio, she gave me exercises, but the wrist didn't improve. Then I saw the chiropractor and she said the bones weren't aligned - she aligned them and the pain went.

I would see an osteopath then possibly a physio.

Each has their own slightly different approach but physiotherapy is a very balanced approach and uses combinations of all treatments. For instance they may use manipulation Acupuncture massage and exercise programmes to ensure you meet your long term as well as short term treatment needs.
