blue hand and feet and being sick

went to get alana out her bed and she had been really sick a few times by the look of it. i got her undressed and she was sick again so put her in the bath and her hand and feet were really blue.

has any1 else had experience of this

Give her little tiny sips of water if you can (or breastmilk if you are still bfing) ... DD was 11 months when she had a nasty bug and was in hospital with dehydration ... they shouldn't take any chances with babies that young ...

her temp is still up and her nappy isnt very wet even though the doc gave her stuff to rehydrate her. at least she is drinking though but doesnt seem to be coming out

dd has come down with the sickness bug today (ds yesterday) and has hardly done any wees at all today. Are her hands and feet looking better starshaker?

You know, if you are worried and feel she may be becoming dehydrated you can go to A & E despite the fact you've seen the GP. I've done it a few times myself and they've been great.

Hope she's feeling better soon Smile

Hope the doc can reassure you. If not, do go to A&E if you're concerned.

she was taken in to hosp last night and put on a drip she seems a lot better today and managed some breakfast. we got home a wee while ago and shes having a sleep. at least she is smiling again
