My dd is 2.5 and gets very purply coloured hands - sometimes even in the house. She has been very poorly witha sickness bug at the minute and is just recovering but her hands today were very purple and red. Any ideas whether she's just got poor circulation or feels the cold more? Any ideas would be gratefully received

My ds often has purple hands, sometimes they are freezing, other times they are not. He does have bad circulation, but it is always more noticible when he's poorly. My gp says that the body automatically sends more blood to were it is needed, so the heart for example, especially if they are fighting a virus.
