Return of periods after giving birth?

I was wondering what's normal for return of periods after having a baby. I had my dd at the beginning of March, had a period in late May but nothing since. Dd nearly seven months. Is this normal or do I need to see the GP. I am not breast feeding only did for the first three weeks.

Mine took a year to return.

Apparently the average period returns after 14.6 months if breastfeeding and a lot faster if you don't. Do a quick google search.
