She looked like she'd been beaten up when I went in this morning! Her face was covered in blood and the bedding is practically a write off!
Wonder why that happened!

i would maybe give the nurse a call at your surgery and explain that it's the fisrt time and that there was loads of blood and ask why a nose bleed happens and ask should you be overly concerned?

YG - DD1 started nose bleeds at around 2.5 0 normally nightime and sometimes really severe. She is nearly 6 and still gets the odd one now to be honest. We have no idea what causes them and they have never seemed to do her any harm. Have mentioned in the passing to GP who was never concerned either. On a couple of occasions the bleeding has gone on for a wee while > 1hr which has caused me to start flapping slightly but again no harm done.

She takes them in her stride now with no drama.

Your DD might never get another one of course but just wanted to reassure you that they can happen for no obvious reason and with no lasting damage - except out course to her bedding Smile.

DS had terrifying nose bleeds at this age. Has she had a cold recently, been stuffy, or had a sneezy allergy to anything? All thse used to set DS off - also sometimes sharp changes of temperature.
I wouldn't worry.
