My eyes really hurt. Do this sound like I might need glasses?

Mainly after I've been at work all day.. uh oh...

The best way to describe it is like the back of my eyeballs are really really sore, a bit like a stinging headache...

I can see things clearly, but do I have normal vision because I'm straining my eyes and tha's making my head ache?

Have got app at opticians on Sat, but am just wondering...

Could be. I was getting headaches in the afternoon, went to optician to rule it out, and needed reading/computer glasses. One eye was long-sighted and apparently my brain could cope until afternoon when tired, I got a headache, but I thought I was seeing fine, but my brain was doing the adjustment. Sure enough glasses fixed it (though first week or so can be worse too!). 13 years later, had to start wearing them all the time - couldn't read credits on TV - had awful headache for 10 days when I started to wear them.

It does sound lIke eyestrain. Best to get your eyes tested as you may need glasses. Do you sit all day at a pc? I wear contacts but I had a very stressful job once where I didn't get breaks looking at a screen all day. I started to get eyestrain & pain in my wrists from typing.
