Do you need a gap between the flu and HPV vaccine?

Dd1 is in Y8, and will be having her HPV vaccine at school in September, October and April. Does anyone know if she will also be able to have her flu jab in the Autumn, or will she need to wait until November?

Hi madsometimes. dd had a similar timetable, though was a bit older and I think we waited til November for the flu jab. I just wanted to separate them out for my own peace of mind.

Thanks for your reply. I know I could book a GP appointment to ask this, but it seems a bit of a waste of their time for something so trivial. I was only at the doctors with dd2 and a rash a few days ago, but did I think to ask about this? [dull headed emoticon]

Have just been googling for answer to the same question and came up with this page!

(back to googling for the answer)

HPA say there's no need for a gap.
