you can get treatment from the chemist, you should treat all the family and clean all bedding.

Go the chemist and get an over the counter treatment. Keep nails short, wash bedlinen on a hot wash and wear pants in bed. Search the archive for threads about worms and you wil find loads of info! Excuse the pun!

You don't need to see a doctor - you can go along to your local chemist, explain your problem & buy tablets to treat the threadworms.
It is advised that you treat the entire family.

You won't need to see a doctor if it's definitely threadworms, just buy the treatment (ovex, or pripsen for under twos) and treat the whole family. Then a strict hygiene routine for a few weeks afterwards to prevent re-infection. HTH
