If in doubt ring NHS direct, I remember Dd had something similar at a similar age and they were very helpful. Hope he's better soon.

FrumpyGrumpy · 15/03/2006 20:23

It could still all be teething, they can react in all sorts of ways, two of my three did and it doesn't necessarily stop when the tooth has first burst through. My DD got 4 at once and was off colour for weeks.

Could also be a bug. Keep a close eye on him - if he keeps throwing up everything they can get dehydrated really quickly. Offer drinks of water too if he'll take it. And Calpol for comfort.

there is a nasty D & V bug going around at the moment, is there anyway or anywhere he could have caught it from?

I don't want to suggest something for teething if it a bug or vice versa.

Teething DID make my ds2s nappies pretty yucky but not sicky

thanks FG.sorry to be so descriptive but when he is sickiy in the day it is quite watery.however he is rolling around babling very loudly and smiling a fair bit of the time.is only bit more wingy than normal

dd had this poor mite lost 1lb in weight, if in doubt call your GP (mine do tele appts) funny coz when i was pregnant I honestly never thought about baby getting sick and since she started nursery I don't think a week has gone by when she has been fully well, par for the course i suppose Grin hope he is better soon

ladyjess · 15/03/2006 21:17

my ds2 who is 7 months old has hadd exactly the same thhing. really stinky nappies and puking some of his milk/food but not all. very smiley though and sleeping welll..a bit more whingey that usual.
only lasted 3 days and now his tummy seems fine. gave him really plain food - potatoes/brocolli and now all back to normal.

Tinker · 16/03/2006 19:02

My 9.5 month has had same thing since Saturday. We've all been pukey as well. Otherwise she's been her usual smiley self. Pain dealing with all the bleeding washing though.

DelGirl · 16/03/2006 19:09

snap, my dd's had it since Saturday. Sick (all over me today) but not all the time and horrible acidy mustard nappies. sorry if tmi. every day I think she's over it and then she surprises me! Still fairly cheerful but not quite herself. And, like shellybelly, she started nursery mid jan and hasn't been well since. Must go and sort umpteenth load of washing!

mrsgee · 16/03/2006 19:21

washing AGAIN,puked tonight AGAIN
getting bit fed up with being a puke bucket!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok the rest of the time
joys of motherhood (love him to beits though)Wink
