how do i get an eyelash out of my 6m ds's eye?

try wiping with a wet flannel.

I would gently pour cooled boiled water over his eyes. It might wash it out. Or maybe scoop it up withyour hand/cup to his eye to try and wash it out.

IME it will just work its way out. DS is less distressed if I leave it than if I try to poke around at his eye!

make him blink really quickly to make his eyes water...

It's kind of worked its way to the corner of his eye now. SO not bothering him anymore. The silly things you worry about as a new mom! Just shows what kind of day I'm having!!
