Best way to dry up a big spot?

I think I'm supposed to sound a klaxon Grin

My skin has decided to relive its pubescent stage it seems, and I've been having some awful spots in forehead and temples for about 3 months now.

Atm it seems I've grown a temple in a spot Hmm It's huge and sore and red all over. It hurts when I frown!

I'm being very restrained and I've only put Sudocrem since last night, but it didn't even tickle it. Please share your best method to dry this thing up quickly.

If you have no actual spot stuff at home, try toothpaste! Sounds mad but does usually work. Just put a blob over the spot, let it dry and leave it there overnight.

Oh that I have! Thanks. Should I put a plaster on top to keep it there?

I find salon works a treatSmile

Savlon!

Magnesium Sulphate with plaster covering overnight, will draw all gloop out. Then dilute hydrogen peroxide to zap bacteria and leave to scab over.

Sudocrem......miracle cream according to my teenagers.

Taking notes to buy that tomorrow if toothpaste doesn't cut it MadameC.
Idobelieveinfairies, SC usually works, but this one wasn't bothered at all by it.
Hadn't heard of Savlon, more notes for me then.
Even DH, who's never bothered about these things, wanted to pop it earlier Grin claiming it was "ready".

and witch hazel
and tee tree oil

trying both at the moment for these under the skin mountains things!!

lisandbag · 27/08/2012 21:55

If you try the toothpaste, the toothpaste itself dries and stays in place no problem!

Gauchita · 27/08/2012 21:56

Mellower, my sympathies. I'm willing to try all of these things as these days it's a new one a day Sad

Well, it's not gone, but it's at least half the size it was last night! Thanks again ladies!
