DD has just been diagnosed with DDH. We are dealing with the emotional trauma but now need to be practical..can anyone recommend a double buggie that fits a 'std' child and one with a Spica cast as we need one for our childminder.

You might find the Steps website and discussion forums useful in general. (steps-charity.org.uk)

they have an equipment list here, in their documents library, which hopefully will contain info about double buggies:-

Jaqphil - have you had a look at the message board at \link{http://www.steps-charity.org.uk/home.php\Steps}?

There's loads of parents there and they might be able to help you track down some equipment you need. How old is your dd? Mine had some leg surgery recently and the little girl in the next bed had a spica. I can imagine it makes things really awkward although she got used to it in no time at all.
