had a miserable 5 days the week before last withn ds complianing his tummy didn't feel 'right' whatever that means!

this week he has seemed more tired than normal and a bit off and now, since last night, he has had a temperature, tummy pains and threw up twice in the night.

doctor this morning (who i could barely understand) has give him calpol and phenergan ?? said his throat was a bit inflamed but no pus and felt his tummy.

he is now asleep on the settee and i can honestly say never since the age of 3 has he fallen asleep during the day even with illness..

i am worried again Sad

The phenergan is an anti emetic, to stop him feeling sick... can't help any more than that, hope he gets better asap!!

festive face phernagan will make him very sleepy. It is a well know and (dare I say wel used side effect?)
It is ok. My friend gave this to her ds once who then slept for 6 hours!

My son has been ill like this on and off for the past few weeks. I think it's a virus that lingers, but strikes when they get particularly tired/run down. I know several people whose children have had the same thing, so I think it's just a case of letting it run its course. Hope he's well soon.
