In the interests of being super-mum, I took part in an "adventurous activity" which I'm really not suited too. although I admit it was great fun, until towards the end, when I slipped and gave the outside of my ankle and almighty bang on a rock.
It hurt a lot at the time, but the pain eased quite quickly and although I was aware of it hurting for the rest of the holiday, it didn't really stop me doing anything.
3 weeks on though, it isn't any better. I'm a keen runner, I hadn't been for the two weeks we were away and tried a short run at the weekend, which was quite uncomfortable at the time, but since the ankle is more sore than ever.
It was and is quite swollen - the lump on the side rather than the girth of the ankle iyswim. I'm started to get nagged at that I should "see someone" but although it's quite sore, I'm sure it's not painful enough for there to be any real damage.
Is it just a matter of waiting for it to get better or should I be doing something?
