When are coughs non longer contagious? Friend visiting and worried about baby

Hi my baby has just had a hectic 4 days teething with fever etc so I definitely don't want her to get sick now.
My friendis due to visit today with her two sons, she said they both have coughs but are not contagious as they had fevers etc last week.
I have tried googling it but different websites have different views, should I cancel seeing her today or should it be ok?
TIA

coughs can linger for weeks and weeks so if they only have a cough and are not ill as such then I would let the visit go ahead
