he was diagnosed last month, has had one testicle removed already and has just started chemo on monday, hes in hospital for 5 days, home for 9 days and then back for 5 days more chemo and that carries on for 8 sessions. Only then (mid nov) will they know if it has/is working. He is only 20 but has other problems, he has aspergers and dyspraxia, has a mental age of about 13, but is such a lovely lad.
It has spread to his lungs and he has an 8cm growth in his groin, they keep checking his brain. He has been told its a very aggressive form, but we're not sure how much he understands. The doctor has told him he might not make it
what can i do for him now and what can he expect? macmillan nurses have been fab.
