A bit of background on my dd 20 mnths
On monday the nursery advised me that dd had had 2 loose nappies she had another when she got home.
On Tuesday she was sent home from nursery as she had a very loose nappy but only had one more that day. On Wednesday because she had been off her food on Tues she didn't have a dirty nappy but plenty of wet ones she drank well and ate some plain toast at tea time.
This morning she has again had 2 very nasty vellow runny poo's but seems ok in herself just a bit tired.

So when do I go to the doc's as I thought that she was improving on Wed because of the lack of poo but it seems as soon as she eats they come back.
Any thoughts ?

I wouldn't go to the doctor. It sounds like she has a big of a tummy bug. My ds3 (3) has had one too - it isn't dreadful but we let him have milk because we thought it had gone, and boy did the diarrhoea come back! My advice would be to keep her strictly off anything dairy for three days (inc milk unless breast fed) and then gradually reintroduce it. Ds3 is just starting day one of being allowed milk again, but I am only giving it to him watered down and only one cup today.

Should add that if cutting out dairy and keeping to very plain foods doesn't help, or the diarrhoea increases, then I would go to the doctor as your dd is still very young.
