36 weeks pregnant,found painful lump under arm,PANIC!!

Hello, 3 days ago I found almond size lump in my right armpit,it is painful to touch,Iam 36 weeks pregnant and absolutely mortified. I've got to see doc tomorrow,but just wonder if anyone has such thing in their life?could please share ur story and any words of wisdom?thank you

I'm totally sure this will be fine. 90 percent of lumps in that area are harmless, and my guess would be that that will be pregnancy/milk related.

Ooooo interesting. I have this under my left armpit and am 30 weeks pregnant. I was wondering if it was lymph-node / milk / oedema related. It isn't on my right though? Think I'm going to ask midwife at next appointment but not panicking at moment - too blase?

Could be ectopic breast tissue (was in my case), but worth getting checked out.

My guess is thats its an infected/blocked or enlarged sweat gland. I had one once under my armpit, very tender to touch but went to doc and it was a blocked sweat gland that had got infected. AB's sorted it out. If its got shape, you can pull it up almost in your fingers, feels hardened,pea like then i am sure its that.
