Can I do anything to help him?

DS is teething his big back molars at the moment so his mouth is sore

To top this off earlier he slipped banging his chin down onto a stool and has put his tongue through his tongue and bust his lip.

Needless to say his mouth is now very very very sore! He cant even suck his beloved dummy and therefore cant even settle himself.

He wont let me get medicine into him to try and relieve some pain although I think I managed a bit.

aaawww bless, poor little man. flavoured ice cubes in a cloth sounds good; i would add a few drops of Anbesol to numb and clean it. or dip the dummy in anbesol, or mix the calpol/anbesol with ice ceam, or both, in any order! good luck x
