migraine on way, can smell weird smells!

Anyone else get this before a migraine? I can smell something like burning pear drops right now that the dc's can't smell (have already taken painkillers). I have had the house upside down looking for spilt nail varnish or paint - then my face started feeling hot and tingly down one side.

Previous migraines have led to me thinking that the house was on fire, as I could smell burning rubber!

I'm very sensitive to smell anyway so I'm forever asking if others can smell the same weird smell. However, my migraines come with tingling nose, cheek and numb tongue of all things.

I'm sure it is just a new migraine symtom but I would really urge you to get a quick gp check over if you are smelling odd smells with bad headaches, esp. burning rubber.
