Allergic to my wedding rings

Rings 7 years old - no problems until last 6 weeks when I've had 3 really sore breakouts on my fingers - burning pain and skin all red and flaky (yuk). Taken rings off for a couple of times but each time they go back on I'm in the same position a week or so later. Anyone had the same?

Mine went like that during my pregnancy
It was very random. Even more random was that I could switch them to the other hand with no problem, so that is what I did

Yes! Fucidin is what you need, however I now also have to take my rings off overnight- if I leave them on I instantly get the little blisters and sore red flakey skin (which the fucidin gets rid of straight away!)

Ooo. I have dividing for ds3s conjunctivitis but it was opened about 3 months ago. Should I give it a shot. Had baby 8 months ago so could be to do with that but never had it before after having a baby. It's really painful

Just another thought. Do you wash your hands with your ring on and think it could be soap collecting underneath and causing your reaction?

Agree with chloesmumtoo

I had this exact problem after going back to work - turned out I was allergic to the soap in the office loos. Haven't had any problems since I stopped using it.

Bizarre but I've just started work at a new company and it's only happened since then!
