Does this sound anything like gallbladder pain (TMI)

Both my brothers' and my Dad have had gallbladder problems. My dad had his removed and my brothers' both have low fat diets which control their symptoms.

I have pain just slightly to the right at the top of my stomach. It isn't bad and feels sort of like a stinging sensation. Also tender if I press the area. I used to find I just got it before my period was due and it would go off when it started. This month iit came on before but hasn't gone. I've had it about 6 days now. I'm aware of it all the time but it's not stopping me doing anything. It doesn't seem to feel worse after eating fatty food either. Both my brothers' and Dad were in agony with gallbladder pain which makes me wonder whether mine could be something else.

I've got very bad smelling poo considering that my diet is really good and my breath isn't great even though my dentist says my oral hygiene is v good. I've read that these two things can be related to gallballder probs. Anyone have any idea if this description matches? Thanks/

It's the right area. You could ask for an ultrasound which will show if you have any stones. I had "gravel" so lots of small stones that moved around and caused a lot of problems. When one gets stuck you really know about it!! But they can also grumble on I think.

thanks Billy. It's just because I thought it was always horrendously painful that made me wonder because mine really isn't causing too many problems.
