Whoa...what's happened to my ladies love zone?

Whoa...what's happened to my ladies love zone? I had a baby at home in a birthing pool seven weeks ago, and I don't know if I'm expecting too much too soon, but we had sex last night and I didn't really feel very much. My bits felt as if they had increased by several sizes! My husband (though very sensitive) remarked that 'it did feel a bit wider down there!'Can I just ask, is this forever or just a temporary measure while my bits recover, or am I to be blighted with a massive mary all my life?!
I didn't have any problems with the birth - no stitches or epesiotomy and I have been doing pelvic floor exercises.Any tips, tales or advice would be gratefully received. Thanks

Erm, well you have had a rather large object exit out of you and so you will have to expect some change. But yes things do return to kind of normal (either that or you just get used to it ). I guess it took me 6mths or so before i could say i honestly enjoyed sex, and a year before i was totally normal. I'd definitely recommend doing your pelvic excercises to get things back to normal. And of course you may not take as long as me until things feel more normal there!

Sorry, just realised, you said you didn't have stitches or anything - i did and so that was my main cause of concern and probably the reason why it took so long for me to feel 'normal'.
