Gravel in my foot

I think I've got a bit of gravel under the skin of my heal. It hurts, I can't put my weight on it. Not sure how it got there, I think the boots I've been wearing have holes in. Any tips to get it out? Tried soaking in warm water and poking at it but nothing seems to work.

Ouch! I was going to suggest your local minor injuries centre but I think they are a monday to friday operation. You need a nice nurse to give that a professional poke!

Clean the area cover it in Vaseline and then put a plast on it and go to bed. It should work its way out by the morning if not go to the walk in centre tomorrow ( no pun intend btw) Smile

It's still there. Guess I'll be hopping off to the walk-in centre! This does not bode well for a danc rehearsal at 12, does it?

It was, in fact, a blood blister that due to my really thick skinned feet it looked black. Even the nurse was surprised how much blood came out when he popped it!

Shouldn't you have to sound the claxon before given blister blood puss information Grin

Glad it's sorted, will you now be able to dance?

Yum! Sounds spectacular. Good job.
