It all went well and I got to come home tonight instead of staying in until the morning :)

Dp's looking after me well and ds1 even came with him to pick me up Shock He's 14 and usually has to be forced to come out was such a nice surprise. DP said it was ds1's idea too. Ds2 is at Team GB footy tonight so will see him tomorrow when their dad comes for ds1.

The pulling out of the packing wasn't nice but over very quick. The nurse said the stitches will hurt, must be when the healing begins properly perhaps? Am not in any pain at the moment. I got pain killers (co-codamol) and the nose cream and drops to use.

A friend said when she had it years ago they left the packing in for 4 days and plastic splints in longer! Shock She was in agony bless her. I'm so glad times have changed.

Thank goodness for that!! At the assessment they said my nose shape could change and it's already slightly upturned but more so at the moment. Phew!
