The Bubble boys have all had a vomiting virus at some stage during the past week. I've had a very unpleasant 48 hour bout, only Mr Bubble seems to have been unaffected. We'd had two well-ish days until this morning when Elijah started vomiting, again. It (or it may well be a different virus) seems to have come full circle.
That's it. Not very exciting, but I needed a whinge.I know Minker's mob have had this, anyone else??? Misery loves company, don't ya know. Grin

Bronchial even. Blush

Glad it's not just me. DS1 has had this on and off all week. Started with headache/tiredness then vomited once for several days, now it's the other end. Poor little chap's been crying with the pain of his sore bottom. Fell asleep while having a bath he's that exhausted. It's all so worrying as well, isn't it? Hope all at your house are well soon.

foxinsocks · 04/03/2006 19:38

oh yes, we had it all in turn in half-term (dd, then ds then me!). It's rife round our parts at the moment!

Was thinking of you the other day when we all went for a walk down by the river (on the thames path) and into richmond (up richmond hill).

Hope you all get better soon. xx

Too true, LGJ. Smile From infertility investigations to an early ante-natal in one go. I now have to decide which hospital to go to. It's a difficult decision to make. If I go to a different hospital I obviously won't have to deal with the painful association but I am just as likely as anyone to encounter an understaffing induced screw-up. Whereas, if I go back to the same hospital I feel I will be more able to deal with things and speak out if things begin to go wrong again.

Also, at the enquiry meeting into Bo's death I said, quite seriously, to the Obs Consultant that if I were lucky enough to be able to have another child I would expect her to deliver it. If I go back to the same hospital I feel I will be able to reasonably ask for red-carpet treatment. I'm still not sure.

Aha! my misery has company. I am not the only one drowning in dirty clothes/sheets. I hope all of these littlies feel better soon. Smile

LGJ, I assumed 'borncial' was an exotic South Pacific type virus that you lot out in the 'Hame Counties' acquire after yet another holiday. Wink Grin

Take your time, but I always remember Jangus's consultant saying that if she returned he would personally ensure that she was given over the top treatment.

Personally I would go back and try leave your ghosts at the front door and act as though you were in the Portland.Tell them you want the midwives rostered, so there is always one available to pop out and get you a takeaway. Grin

Seriously darling only you and Mr B can make that choice, but I am thinking about you both constantly. And if you were to leave your ghosts at the front door you would not be denying Bo, but ensuring your sanity for those few hours. IYKWIM.

Aha! Bubble, nice to see your name on here, sorry to hear about all the sicky-ness. Have to go and read stories now but just wanted to cross paths with you Smile

bubble99 · 04/03/2006 19:54

Thanks, LGJ. I think you're probably right. I keep thinking of Jangus too.
