So something hasn't been right for about 3 years....ever since DS was born, very big, horrible labour with very quick removal via ventouse

Ever since everything has felt swollen/heavy and generally not right. I've been to the Dr's and have had a number of responses, mostly "....you look normal in the range of what we would expect..."

But it doesn't FEEL normal and is driving me mad. Everything on the left hand side feels odd especially when I walk or sit down. I've had a look and have a couple of large skin tags at the entrance and one section of my vaginal wall "sticks out" like a hernia would.

I've managed to persuade my GP to refer me to gynae and am waiting for an appointment but I would be so pleased to hear from anyone with similar symptoms to put my mind at rest.

Thanks

Oh poor you :(. I think you know yourself if things aren't right. I've been told "normal" for what I've been through , which is all well and good but it's uncomfortable and my bottom is sore (difficult birth). There is a mild prolapse. I've now, at last, been referred to the pelvic floor clinic. I'm 6 months post partum.

Three years sounds a long time to be dealing with this - I hope things get sorted out soon.
