I feel so miserable, what can I can to make myself feel brighter?

At the beginning of last week I hurt my back and could hardly move for about 4 days, now, it is still sore, but I can move, I'm still on painkillers, but I cannot lift anything for at least a week. I went to hospital for a hysteroscopy on tues, it was agony, i am so so sore and i am STILL bleeding really heavily.

This morning I woke with flu, I have the heating on full blast and I'm covered with a feather duvet but I'm still freezing, i feel as though I have toothache in ALL my top teeth and my eyes are stinging and streaming.

I'm not eating so having loads of chocolate isn't really an option Sad

On top of all this, after not seeing her for 5 years, I bumped into a close friend of mine a few weeks ago and we've been seeing alot of each other and speaking on the phone alot and I'm supposed to be going to her house tomorrow for a posh meal tomorrow night, followed by lots of red wine.

No though, cos of the flu and bleeding doesn't look like I can make it so I'm doubly Sad Sad

On the plus side though, DH is on nights tonight so i get the television AND a double bed to myself Grin

join the club! so did i...then i dug out a christening present someone gave to my daughter - a book called "poems to last a lifetime" and felt better. nothing like reading about death and infidelity to make one put one's life into perspective! can you get some extra sleep in? my mother says there is no worry/upset that sleeping more will not reduce.

hmm, you say you have the T.V tonight? Well don't know if you watch it but ER is on on E4. Ah... Dr. Kovac could make me feel better any day. Grin

Sorry to hear your feeling crappy and I hope you get better soon.

I cannot remember the last time that I watched ER, I think it was when it first started because George Clooney was in it.

Radley · 02/03/2006 15:27
