mm my dad had this done in 2004
he was suffering from angina and had a couple of heart attacks and he began deteriating over the few months before his op
once he had the op he was sore (obviously) for weeks but he was like a new man
he has gone back to work (not long after the op) and does his diy, plays in his rock band etc
we cant slow him down tbh

he didnt have to wait for long for op
was in about a week
and he was back to work, I think 2 months after op
his life has improved so much
hope all goes well

btw told my kids that their grandad now has a terminator leg as he has a scar from the bottom to the top
and dad buzzes of telling the grandchildren this story

great to hear your dad is enjoying life.
