Period every 2 weeks like clockwork, 3 times now, depo provera?

History, always had irregular periods, had dd 14 months ago. About 6 months after having her I had the depo provera jab which stopped my periods completely, until now when I am having them every 2 weeks, today for the 3rd time in 6 weeks, like normal periods, but quite heavy.

I will go and see my GP if it happens again.

Just thought I would see if anyone had experienced somthing similar.

I have been on depo provera for a long time before and it took about 2 years for my periods to come back, but this didnt happen then.

I bled for a whole year on the depo, I was told it can cause prolonged bleeding so it could well be.

Thanks, Thinking about it I had the depo this time last year, so a whole 12 months later.

All such changes should be reported to the GP, do not leave this.

Bleeding every two weeks is not normal, something is causing this to arise and you should seek medical advice asap.
