Since having a smear on Monday I have felt constantly nauseous and my bladder feels full all the time (like a very bad case of cystitis). Don't think I have had a liquid based smear before and it was hideously painful and I feel horrid. Went back to docs who put me on antibiotics and took sample etc. Has anyone else felt like this? What was it? I don't think it can be an infection - after all they use sterilised equipment - so what's going on and why do I feel I want to vomit all the time? Ps; am not pregnant!
