brimfull · 01/03/2006 12:02

ds 3.5yrs is a 8.5-9

mumfor1standfinaltime · 01/03/2006 12:05

Crikey sparkle magic! Size 12!

Still got lots to learn when it comes to shoe sizes, can imagine ds having huge feet as he is at top of all his height chart etc. (ds is 13.5m and is size 3)

MummyPig · 01/03/2006 12:05

wow, size 12 seems big to me. Ds1 is 4 this month and is currently in size 9 Start Rites. Depends a lot on the brand, though, last summer he was wearing size 11 Adidas trainers but I think they were a very narrow fit.

Hulababy · 01/03/2006 12:07

That does sound big.

Don't have a boy but my DD, age 3y10m, is size 10.

GDG · 01/03/2006 12:07

ds2 is 3.4 and we had his feet measured on Saturday - he's an 8

I'd say he's pretty average size for his age (all over I mean, not just feet!)

My neice is 4.4 and she's in a 12 but my ds1 is 4.11 and is in 8.5!! He is small for his age though!

elliott · 01/03/2006 12:08

ds1 is 4.3 and size 8!

cathyspam · 01/03/2006 12:12

my 2.5 year old DS is a 9 - I recently took 13 month old DS2 for 1st shoes and he needs 5.5! They couldnt give him the 'first walkers' as they only do up to 4.5!

Sparklemagic · 01/03/2006 12:16

phew it is true then my boy's plates of meat really are a bit big!! He is tall for his age though so he doesn't look bizarre, honest!

He's always had big feet for his age and what I found a bit sad was that at two years old he was out of the 'first' range with all the cute colours, and basically had black to choose from as he was in school size shoes! I always manage to find something nice for him but there's not a massive choice. (I use clarks but I think I ought to try start-rite, keep forgetting them!)

cathyspam, you're heading my way then, as my DS was 13 months when I took him for his first shoes and he was 5.5!!!!!

DS is just 5 and he is in size 10. I think at 3 he was about an 8. I would say that his feet are on the small side though.

Nemo1977 · 01/03/2006 12:21

my ds is 2.4yrs and a 6.5-7

Auntymandy · 01/03/2006 12:23

my Ds was 3 at christmas and is in an 8.5G

PiccadillyCircus · 01/03/2006 12:24

DS is 2.3 and wears a size 7. His first shoes when he was 14 months were a 5. I think

singersgirl · 01/03/2006 12:41

DS2 is 4.5 and in a size 9 Start-Rite, though those are just becoming too small.

brightstar1 · 01/03/2006 13:42

Ds 4yr is size 10

Ds 7yr is size 13

Ds 10yr is size 6! adult prices which i think is disgusting for a 10yr old!{angry]

MerlinsBeard · 01/03/2006 13:43

DS1 almost 3, size 9 (or 8.5 depending on material)

Posey · 01/03/2006 13:44

Ds is 3y2m and size 8.5

lanismum · 01/03/2006 14:22

dont have a 3 yr old ds, but my friend does, and i know hes an 8 as i bought him some trainers last week, have no idea if this is averageish or not though Blush

QE2 · 01/03/2006 14:25

ds3 is 3 and a size 9.5

ds4 is 14 months and size 5.5

ds2 is 10 and size 5

ds1 is 12 and size 7

dd is 14 and size 7/8

I also begrudge paying adult prices for boys shoes Angry

ruty · 01/03/2006 15:05

my 17 month old is size 6.5. I think his feet are fairly big and wide.

skerriesmum · 01/03/2006 15:14

My ds just turned 3 and is now an 11, he's pretty tall.

jellyjelly · 01/03/2006 17:38
