After much research I have decided to give my son single jabs. I found www.jabs.org.uk an excellent website. They are informative and can recommend reputable clinics if you do decide for single jabs.
I found a good clinic and they sent me a lot of information regarding the pros and cons of the MMR vs single jabs. When I started on the single jab route with them they even sent me vitamin tablets to help strengthen my ds immune system before he has his first jab.
Although I do think children should be immunised I try and keep it in perspective 1. I had measles when I was younger and so have my brother and sisters and we are all fine, until recently boys were not immunised against rubella at all only girls were at around 11 yrs and mumps was a very common illnes I have also had and so have my siblings - and it is only very rarely that boys to become infertile because of it.
So dont panic stressyhead, there isnt a right or wrong, take a look at the pros and cons and all the research and make the decision you see as right. If you need any info I have so much because I was like u and having to look into it - contact me and I will send it to you.
Hope this all makes sense - I am tired and ds is still up! (teething!)
