really bad period pain but no period yet

Have had really bad period pain for about 24 hours (at least) but, so far, no period. I think I might be worrying unnecessarily but could there be anything seriously wrong?

I know the feeling -was like that a couple of weeks ago with my test too!

havent been able to eat today as i felt really queasy all day.dont know if its the hormones kicking in already or just because im excited!!my friend is a midwife and she said its a good sign to feel sick early,as long as its not twins!!!

any news yet tommy?unfortunately i started bleeding on monday night and went to see my gp on tuesday.she said i was having a natural miscarraige.have to go to see her tomorrow.am totally gutted.couldnt stop crying all day tuesday,but feel abit more possitive today.kids are keeping me going.felt such an idiot for getting so excited.wouldnt have known i was pg if wasnt ttc.going to try again though.am determined to have another baby!hope you get good news soon!xx

thanks cece.ive been really angry and upset tuesday and yesterday,but i know i have to get on with it.dh said maybe pg test was wrong.think hes trying to make me feel better about it tbh.dd was giving me lots of hugs and kisses tuesday,and made me feel guilty for being upset!(if that makes sense)im still upset,but ive got the other kids to think about,so i cant just curl up into a ball and cry my eyes out like i want to.my kids dont know i was even pg,dont see the point in upsetting them.but like i say we are going to try again.have to see what gp says tomorrow.just feel so stupid for getting my hopes up.

thanks childern and cece.having paople to 'talk' to like this has made it easier for me.even though i cant see you,its nice to know that there are people who understand and take the time to listen (well,read) about how im feeling.i really appreciate it guys.

My period came on Saturday Sad
I was very upset because normally I am pretty regular so 5 days late really got me hoping. DH bought me some roses which was sweet but I think I would rather had a positive test.
