Does ths burn mark sound like it is healing o to you?

I burnt my hand in the oven last week, it blistered straight away and I ran tied water over it for a good few minutes.

I have also been using witch hazel on it as its really sore.

The burn is now really hard to touch and the skin is the colour of chocolate with the sorounding area very red and blotchy.

I could pick the chocolate scab off but I predicte it will hurt!

Do you think it is healing ok?

Go and see your practice nurse on monday to get it properly looked at to rule out any infection and get it dressed with something that will reduce the chances of a scar. Don't pick at it!

I was going to go to the chemist on Monday, can I just put a plaster over it?
