I saw an optician a couple of days ago and she found that one of my eyes has a problem with a leaking blood vessel. Its in the dangerous area of my eye but its not affecting my vision. The optician recommended that i see a consultant ophthalmologist.
I wasn't too worried TBH because I was thinking it was just one of those things and it would rectify itself. However, I googled it when i got home and I found that its associated with diabetes (which i don't think i have).
I've made an appointment with my GP but could anyone tell me anything about this - like is it always a side effect of diabetes and can it just stop as suddenly as it seems to have started?
