Phlebitis in pregnancy - please calm me down!

10 days ago, i spent the morning in A+E and ended up with a diagnosis of phlebitis and a weeks course of Flucloxacillin. I'm 16+5 with PFB so no idea o what's normal!

Since then (6 days ago) I've seen my GP because the red patch got bigger. He prescribed Ibuprofen gel.

Since then, the pain has stayed pretty much the same but the whole lot has shifted down to my knee. I also have a cramp-like pain in my calf.

Do I:
A) See my GP again
B) Take myself off to A+E
C) Rest lots and bathe in ibuprofen gel
D) Get off my arse and move around?

I've tried googling, and all i can find is horror stories of people dying of DVT related stuff. The advice appears to be conflicting about moving vs resting and elevating, and nothing is relevant to pregnancy!

I also have a very nasty cough, although no other cold/flu type symptoms

Please help me stay calm Thanks

Ok, updating for the benefit of future searchers...

Off to the GP at 4, they're taking it quite seriously (especially the cramp in my calf) so fitted me in short notice.

Ibuprofen and support tights and go back on Friday if no improvement...

Support tights! I feel so old!!

According to the doc, phlebitis in pg is caused by nothing more sinister than the extra blood flow plus the pressure of the weight of the baby. I hope he's right, cos PidjChick currently weighs about half a pound which seems a bit minimal for the consequences Hmm
