DeNTISTS!!! Anyone know about temporary crowns?

Had my tooth filed down on monday in prep for a crown which will be fitted on march 10th, However the temporary crown fell off today and bloody dentist won't see me till monday so am left with filed down stump of a tooth which has a root canal filling in it. Will this be ok? The last thing i want is for the root canal to break down too!! Any advice TIA xx

You can buy some temp bond from Boots - ask the chemist. I had temp crowns on when I got married and carried a tube of the stuff with me in my handbag on the day just in case it fell off!!

But the actual crown has broken !! It came off when i was eating and i managed to bite it in half so chucked it away!!! Will it still be ok?
