Ingrowing hair in scarline

Hi, I had a cesarean section nearly 7 weeks ago and my scar has been healing fine up until now. I've just noticed however, that I have an I growing hair in the middle of the scar that is causing the skin to have a white bump over the hair.

I'm prone to ingrown hairs and have had to tend to them before (i.e. clean needle and tweezers) but I feel a bit like wincing at the idea of poking around my new, still-pink scar.

Just wondering whether I should try and tease it out (using clean tweezers, alcohol prep pads) or should I leave it alone? I'm worried about the consequences of leaving the hair to burrow.

They usually work their own way out. If you are worried then a quick visit to the GP. I wouldn't poke about as you may affect how the scar progresses.
