can having a row with someone really cause high blood pressure?
dh had his blood pressure checked at work as part of his medical and was told it was high but he had just had a row with someone.
He's never had high blood pressure before but has put on a fair bit of weight.
He's not bothered he just said 'of course it was high, just had a row with xxx'

Yes, it can raise your blood pressure. A dr would not diagnose high blood pressure until they had several readings that were high because it can vary a lot.
