my 9 month old son has for the last week, been doing the most horrendous poos. i mean covering the bed every night, watery, covering mummy vile poos. He doesnt seem to be ill, this is happening on average twice a day, he is not being sick and there is no temperature. any ideas???

Hey luvvie how's the rest of life treating you?
Normally I would say that this was toddler diarreoa(sp?) but this has been a week so maybe a trip to the GP should be in order.

prettyfly1 · 21/02/2006 16:20

possibly, does it get this bad though???

my dd has poohs like this every day.they come out of her nappy,up her back, down her legs,it gets everywhere!!!the only thing i could think that it was with her was weetabix.either that or her medicines (she has cf and is on 18 medicines a day).does your ds seem ok in himself?my dd is quite happy, which makes me think that maybe it could be the weetabix.

spursmum · 21/02/2006 16:29

Im such a dimwit! Thanks for reminding me of that one Steph.
Have you introduced anything new into his diet lately?
Still twice a day for over a week is a bit much so I would still go to the GP. Or maybe phone your HV for advice if you have a halfway decent one.
