my periods are so heavy, I am unable to really do anything for at least 2 days. I started my period on monday, it has only been 2 weeks since my last one and it is so heavy, I had to clean my mooncup about 10 times yesterday, twice in the night. I got up at 7.30am and I was already leaking by 8.20 when I had to leave for the school run, I was leaking again by the time I ot back home at 9.15. Its too much, I need to take the dogs out but I always end up in the middle of nowhere with that familiar feeling panicking because there is nothing I can do about it.
So should I go and see a doc or is it just one of thse things?

Yes you should see the doctor about this. There are things that can be done to help so I would not continue to just put up with it.

Yes you ought to see a GP about this problem. If GP is uncertain I would ask then and there for a referral to a gynae. The cause needs to be determined.
Fibroids can cause prolonged heavy bleeding and are very common.
