Booster jabs for DS, what to do?

Tell me I'm not the only one - but I've lost DSs vacination certificate and I know he is due for some boosters but I don't know what! He had all his jabs up to the age of 2.5 including measles but not the rest of the MMR - this was in Denmark. Now we are in Brazil and he is nearly 6. Should I go for the Brazilian requirements or the European requirements bearing in mind that we will most probably return to Europe within 5 years. And if I don't know what he has already had what is the out come if he has a booster but actually didn't have the original jab. I hope this is making sense (I fear not). I feel like a bad Mummy now but am resolved to solving the issue asap but don't really know what to do!

Can you write to the dr in Denmark for a copy of his records ? fwiw I don't think there are "requirements" as such in Europe and the schedule varies from one country to another anyway. We decided to stick to the UK one but dd still had her mmr booster at 18 months , rather than 4. If you have to guess I'd go for a DTP and any recommended local ones (Meningitis , hepatitis, bcg ?)..

The MMR pre-school booster is intended to catch those children who either didn't get the first vac or in whom the vac didn't 'take' ( a fairly high percentage IIRC), so it shouldn't matter whether or not your ds has had the other parts of the MMR, you can just have the MMR booster.

I imagine that far more diseases are endemic in Brazil than in Europe, so the Brazil requirements will probably cover all teh European ones as well. So, if you're happy for him to have all the vacs (no veiled criticism intended here, our children have had everything) you might as well follow the local schedule.
