your daughters diarrhoea may be due to a rotavirus which usually takes about 7 days to run its course. I have tried several method to combat the dreaded diarrhoea. Fliuds only to feed away at whatever. The best solution for my sons was to keep up the fliuds milk included and give toast if they will eat it. Keep off other dairy foods and those which cause iritation eg. acidic fruits etc.Diarrhoea is very distressing but rest assured it will pass and she will be fine. Fluids are important and solid much less so. If the diarrhoea is caused by a rotavirus it can live dormant in the bowel and flare up again form time to time but it is usually less severe than the first episode. Hope this helps and I guess the diarrhoea is now just a bad memory
